About the Role
The Company is seeking a Snowflake Field Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a key player in the Snowflake practice, driving the pre-sales motion, and serving as a strategic advisor to customers in designing their AI Data Cloud architecture. This role involves platform architecture and decision-making, technical leadership, and unblocking, as well as executive presence and go-to-market alignment. The CTO will be the technical authority, making platform decisions, and guiding the team through the complexities of data and AI architecture. They will also be responsible for defining and validating technical blueprints, designing data and AI architecture, and pressure-testing technical proposals.
Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years’ experience in data or platform architecture, with a deep understanding of Snowflake and AWS or equivalent cloud service providers. The role requires a background in consulting delivery or embedded partner roles, and experience in migration or modernization with Snowflake. The ideal candidate will have a collaborative mindset, be problem-solving oriented, and have a proven track record of working with CTO-level stakeholders. Technical depth in enterprise data platforms, real-time and batch data architecture, ML/AI systems, and data integration capabilities is essential. The CTO will also be expected to have executive presence, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead high-stakes clients in their Snowflake journey.
